Self-help – In co-operatives, people help each other whilst helping themselves by working together for mutual benefit.

Welcome to the Aspire Co-operative Learning Trust

The Aspire Co-operative Learning Trust was set up in February 2014. Our Trust partners include Huddersfield Town Association Football Club, University of Huddersfield and Huddersfield New College.

The Trust is run by its members, staff, students, parents, carers and members of our local community. The Co-operative values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity underpin all we do.

Royds Hall Community School, Golcar Junior, Infant and Nursery School ,St John’s CE Junior and Infant school, Paddock Junior Infant and Nursery School and Crow Lane Primary School have all agreed to work together to build a strong partnership in order to achieve positive outcomes for all our children and young people within our local area.

Our aim is for us to live, learn and work together for the benefit of all those associated with the trust
